It's so organic, intelligent, pretty and goes perfectly with Tchaikovsky's beautiful music. Most other productions hurt and make me depressed and ill, frustrations and headaches for days. This is truly the best one. I also love the Kirov recording from the 90s of the same production with magical LARISSA LEZHNINA in the main female role. She truly has the Nutcracker spirit. But I also like Alina Somova. She got beautiful legs but Larissa got an amazing aura not many ballet dancers got. especially not nowdays. How much I love the choreography of the Snow Flakes and how emotionally and crisp the Mariinsky Orchestra is playing. Wow! Chills and spiritual orgasms after orgasms. Bravo. It's so sad I won't be able to watch not even one decent Nutcracker in Germany this Christmas time I believe. Maybe in Berlin at Staatsballet.
